Mia Farlane
Mia Farlane’s novel, Footnotes to Sex, was published in the UK in 2009; her second novel, And How Are Things With You, is out now with Mākaro Press. She is a contributing translator in No, Love Is Not Dead: An Anthology of Love Poetry from Around the World and her short stories have won awards including the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival fiction prize 2022 and the RNZ Nine To Noon Short Story Competition 2024. Mia worked for many years at the National Poetry Library at London’s Southbank Centre. She lives with her partner, writer Kristen Phillips, in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, where she is writing her third novel.
