Meriana Johnsen (Kāi Tahu, Rangitāne) is a freelance writer who’s currently studying Te Reo Māori at Te Wānanga o Raukawa. She writes about all things Te Ao Māori and previously worked in the Te Manu Kōrihi Māori affairs team at RNZ. Meriana is also the co-host of Nē? The Spinoff's Te Ao Māori podcast. We are so excited to host her this year as a part of the Te Hā stream of Verb Festival.
