Melanie Harding-Shaw
Melanie Harding-Shaw is a speculative fiction writer, policy geek, and mother-of-three from Wellington. Her short fiction has appeared in a range of publications, including newsroom, Takahē, Years Best Aotearoa New Zealand Science Fiction and Fantasy and Best of British Fantasy 2019. Her longer fiction can be found on Amazon and Book Depository. Melanie won the Sir Julius Vogel Award for Services to Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror in 2020. Her witchy fiction novella Against the Grain, featuring a coeliac mountain-biking witch with a shapeshifting demon familiar in Karori, is forthcoming.
