Alistair’s, 215 Cuba St
The eighth annual songwriter session in LitCrawl, with Ida Lune, in conversation with Kirsten Johnstone.

Ida Lune is a band based in Wellington, New Zealand, comprising of members Deanne Krieg (WHIM, Dawn Diver), Rose Blake (Blaek, Dawn Diver) and Anna Wooles. They each bring their contrasting backgrounds across jazz, classical, and electronic music to inform their evocative compositions. The songs are built on detailed three part harmonies and interweaving melodies which are enhanced by layers of synth and strings (banjo, mandolin, guitar and more). The contrast in their song writing styles makes for a colourful repertoire, which comes to life in a live performance setting. The band released their debut self-titled album in November 2020.

Please note that in Level 2 you must be registered to attend a LitCrawl event. If we are in Level 1 for the festival then those who have registered will be priority entry.
