Jenny Pattrick is a writer and former jeweller whose ten published novels have all been NZ Number One Best Sellers. With her husband Laughton she has written children’s songs and musical shows, many of them performed professionally by Capital E NZ Children’s Theatre. She has chaired the Boards of many arts organisations including QEII Arts Council of New Zealand. In 1990 she was awarded an OBE for services to the Arts. In 2009 she received the prestigious Katherine Mansfield Fellowship. She lives in Wellington.
