Takatāpui Love Stories

  • BATS 1 Kent Terrace Wellington, Wellington, 6011 New Zealand (map)

The power of past and future are non-linear and non-binary; our love stories are no different. Join an intimate selection of indigenous, takatāpui writers in this luxurious kōrero about the ways takatāpuitanga informs and enriches their work. Bring a poem to share - there will be an intimate reading following the kōrero. Priority for indigenous, queer identifying and gender-queer participants.

This event is free to attend. Just turn up on the day, or register below to secure a spot.

This event is part of the The Kaituhi Chronicle: Whakapapa Vibes, an afternoon of free events co-curated by the Māori programmers of Verb Readers and Writers Festival 2023.
