WORKSHOP: Poetry as Spell Casting: with Lynn Davidson

Where does a poem end and a spell begin? Poetry is intertwined with spell-casting; it uses incantation, evocation, metaphor, and repetition to shape-shift and enchant. In this workshop you will read poems that are also spells and spells that are also poems. You will write your own spells. You will make a poetry charm! The workshop will provide an inclusive, warm, and safe environment for spell-casting.
