Annette is a wild swimming enthusiast from childhood . With degrees in ecology and landscape conservation, Annette has had a career in tropical forest conservation, travelling and working in South America and the South Pacific. Annette Lees is now a strategy consultant for her business Alternative Endings. She is frequently working on water quality and conservation issues beside farmers, communities, iwi, conservationists and government. She is the author of The Deep Sky Waits on the Outskirts of Town (Reed 1996).
